Cancellation Policy

Cancelled and missed appointments are fortunately rare. However we request 24 hours’ notice for cancellation or change of appointment to allow other patients the opportunity to take your appointment. Unbooked appointments lead to lost revenue for the practice. Ultimately this would need to be passed onto our patients within our fee structure, which we wish to avoid.

We endeavour to give a courtesy text or email notice to all patients prior to their appointments. To help us with this please provide us with up to date contact details. Please note this is a courtesy and it remains the responsibility of the patient to attend the booked appointment.

We charge for failed appointments or cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice unless due to exceptional, unforeseen circumstances. The fee applied is £1 per minute of surgery time.
