WHAT ARE ANTI-WRINKLE INJECTIONS?
Anti-wrinkle injections are the first line in anti-ageing treatments. Botox® is a toxin and is only available on prescription. It is injected in small doses into targeted areas and blocks the signals between the nerves and the muscles, causing the muscles to relax. This reduces the lines to produce a more natural, fresher, and youthful appearance. The affect is temporary and the muscles will recover fully after about four months.
TREATMENT AREAS
The common areas are the forehead, eyes (Crows Feet) and between the eyebrows (Frown Lines). Each is considered a separate area. They can be treated individually or together in a single visit.
Following an initial detailed consultation treatment can begin with very fine injections into the areas chosen. There is minimal discomfort and it only takes a few seconds. The effects begin to show between 2-14 days after treatment and can last between 2-4 months.
