About Me
I've been a dentist for more than 33 years, and the last 30 of those have been spent right here in Menston. That's a long time in one place, and it means a great deal to me. Some of my patients have been with me for over thirty years; I've looked after their children, and in some cases their children's children. There aren't many jobs where you get to grow old alongside the people you look after.
It also means I know that most people would rather be somewhere else when they walk through our door. So my first job isn't teeth — it's making you feel at ease.
What You Can Expect From Me
I'll listen before I look. If you're nervous, tell me, and we'll take it at your pace — no rush, no judgement, no lectures. I'll explain what I find and what I'd suggest, in plain English, and I'll always give you the honest picture, including what something will cost before we start. I'd rather you made a decision you're comfortable with than one you feel pushed into.
Where treatment is complex, I'll map out a long-term plan so you can see where we're heading, step by step. Patients have called me a perfectionist — I'll happily accept that. I'd rather take the extra ten minutes and get the detail right.
What I Do
I cover the full range of dentistry: general check-ups and prevention, cosmetic work and whitening, dental implants, and the braces and clear aligners I've become known for locally. Wityh the help of our fantastic Hygienists, I also treat gum disease, fit premium dentures, and keep space in the diary for emergencies — because problems rarely wait for a convenient appointment.
Outside The Practice
When I'm not here, you'll usually find me on a mountain bike or out walking in the hills around us — we're lucky to live where we do. I am a keen DIY-er, so if something's broken, I'd rather fix it properly than paper over it. I suppose that's how I feel about dentistry too. I also have four boys ranging from 27 to 14 years old.

I'm proud of the people I work with — Ayesha and Loi, our hygienists, our dental nurses, and Claire, who keeps everything running smoothly. Between us, we look after the Menston and surrounding community, and we'd be glad to look after you.
